Assoc. Prof. Truong Nhut Khue, Dean, and Assoc. Prof. Do Thi Thao, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Odonto-Stomatology, Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Socialist Republic of Vietnam, visited as a representative of the academic network to strengthen institutional connections and further academic collaboration within the Hub of Knowledge in Orofacial Laserology. The representative was welcomed by Prof. Sajee Sattayut, Managing Director of the Hub of Knowledge in Orofacial Laserology and Head of the Lasers in Dentistry Research Group (LDRG), Faculty of Dentistry, Khon Kaen University, together with doctoral candidates specialising in Orofacial Laserology. Discussions centred on future collaboration, particularly the plan to establish a Department of Lasers in Dentistry and a Laser Dentistry Center. The Faculty of Dentistry, Khon Kaen University, provided academic support to enable lecturers from the partner institution to enrol in the Doctor of Philosophy in Orofacial Laserology programme.
On this occasion, the Dean of the Faculty of Odonto-Stomatology, Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy, presented a commemorative plaque to Prof. Sajee Sattayut, citing her “outstanding academic support and significant contributions to laser education and human resource development at Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy.”
This progress also reflects the success of advancing academic development in Orofacial Laserology through the Hub of Knowledge in Orofacial Laserology's collaborative network, with the aim of strengthening long-term academic sustainability in this field.
