Three key organizations have come together to establish an activity for the hub of knowledge in orofacial laserology, initiating the collaboration with a joint drafting of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to be proposed to their respective parent organizations, with the goal of expanding impact within the framework of cooperation:
- Khon Kaen Provincial Administrative Organization, Khon Kaen Provincial Public Health Office, and Khon Kaen University will collaboratively develop and expand knowledge gained from previous research and development projects conducted by each partner organization. This knowledge will be disseminated broadly across the healthcare service network through the Hub of Knowledge in Orofacial Laserology.
- The three organizations will jointly enhance the capacity of oral health personnel under the supervision of the Khon Kaen Provincial Administrative Organization and the Khon Kaen Provincial Public Health Office. The aim is to empower them to promote, prevent, and treat oral health conditions in accordance with each organization’s framework of agreement. This includes the academic and research development in oral health to address public health challenges effectively.
- The organizations will work together to develop a tele-oral health system, enabling remote diagnosis, guidance, and advice for patients and the public on oral health matters. This will facilitate accessible, timely, and cost-effective preventive and palliative care for oral health.
The Hub of Knowledge in Orofacial Laserology offers expertise in the transfer of laserology technology for oral health care at various levels.
